Privacy Policy

Bloomanac (“Bloomanac,” “we,” “us”) is a dahlia-growing app operated by Parallel 41 LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Questions? Email hello@bloomanac.com.
What we collect
- Account: your email, name, and the garden/farm details you enter (varieties, beds, notes, readings, projections, costs).
- Photos you add to a variety or a note, and — if you use photo diagnosis — the photo you send to be looked at.
- Location, as a place you type. A town or region and a timezone, used for frost dates, weather and your growing calendar. We do not use your device's GPS. The apps contain no location services and never ask for location permission.
- Payments: if you subscribe on the web, payment is processed by Stripe. If you subscribe inside the app, payment is processed by Apple. Either way we never see or store your card number.
- AI interactions: the questions and content you send to Sage, so it can respond and so we can monitor usage and cost.
- Technical: basic logs and error reports needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
To provide the app, generate your growing calendar and Sage insights, process subscriptions, send reminders you opt into, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data, and we never use Google Analytics or ad-tracking.
Service providers
We share data only with vendors that help us run Bloomanac, under their own security and privacy terms:
- Supabase — database, authentication, hosting.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Stripe — subscription payments bought on the web.
- Apple — subscription and one-time purchases bought inside the app. Apple tells us only that a purchase is valid, and for which product.
- Anthropic — powers the Sage assistant (your prompts are processed to generate responses).
- Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection at sign-up/sign-in.
- Amazon SES — sending reminder and account emails.
- Sentry — crash and error reports from the website, so a broken page can be found and fixed. The native apps send none.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your data & rights
Your data is isolated to your account (enforced at the database level) and encrypted in transit. You can access and edit all of it in the app. We keep it for as long as your account is active.
You can delete everything yourself, without asking us. Settings → Delete my account in the app (Delete account on the web) removes your account and your garden or farm — varieties, beds, plantings, notes, readings, photos. It cannot be undone. If you were invited to someone else's farm rather than owning one, the same button reads Leave this farm and removes only you. For a copy of your data before you go, or any other question, email hello@bloomanac.com.
Children
Bloomanac isn't directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
